Reporters…that’s what I thought. I was diagnosed at 17 with polycystic kidneys from birth and it took till I was in my early fifties to get to the crucial stage, (my function down to 8%). My younger brother got there ahead of me and his wife gave him hers. My own transplant was very successful. Tiny issues – three biopsies later and not a hint of rejection.
