If the wound edges are going to be subject to tension like over a joint, a Stitch King Game Of Thrones shirt, hoodie, sweater and v-neck t-shirt but the wound itself must be clean and free of any infection and foreign debris. An alternative to a stitch as someone has already pointed out is to use a Steri strip (3M). This will have the same effect as the stitch without needing to pierce the skin with a suture needle but would require monitoring as the edges can lift up (especially if it gets soaked) and may result in losing the tension to keep the edges closed.
