Whatever Disney does with the franchise at this 74 Years Star Wars Peter Mayhew and Chewbacca 1944-2019 signature shirt, I just want to see Chewy live on. Suotamo is fine. But I'll never see that young Finnish kid inside the suit. The walking carpet will always be Peter Mayhew to me. With Mayhew, there was a gentleness, a sense that Chewy was at heart just a fuzzy, loyal friend.
