Within days I had tickets for us, including a 74 Years thank you for memories Peter Mayhew 1944-2019 signature shirt with him, and a Black Series Chewbacca figure to have autographed. At the dinner I had a chance to talk with him one-on-one. First, you can be TOLD that a person is 7′2″ tall… believe me when I tell you that you have no concept what that means until you’re standing in front of a man that is sitting down and looking straight ahead into his deeply warm and friendly eyes. He was tremendously patient, even seemingly appreciative, with answering questions and being told things that he must have heard countless times before. He simply exuded a presence of kindness that was palpable.
