Gendry is the only character I can reasonably see paired with Official Arya Stark GOT not today Game of Thrones shirt, sweater, hoodie, and v-neck t-shirt. He may be bastard-born, but he is the last living son of Robert Baratheon, and should he survive the coming war, it is highly likely he would be granted lands and honors for his service. He might even be granted the right to the Baratheon name as all the legitimate holders have died out. In Season 3, when Gendry tells Arya that the Brotherhood without Banners is the closest he’s ever had to a family, Arya says that she could be his family. But he knows her true identity and responds that no, she will always be “m’lady.” The thing is, if he were to be knighted, or ennobled, he would then be in a position to make Arya his lady in truth, making his words a foreshadowing of what is to come.
